Hi From NODE101 San Antonio
September 9th, 2006
Saturday, September 9th from Noon - 2pm
What is that videoblogging thing (or blogging for that matter) all about? Does it have anything to do with Podcasting? Is just kids on YouTube and MySpace? This is quick overview of what it’s all about and what you need to get started. After the presentation the studio will be open till 5pm. Stay and hang out, get your questions answered one-on-one.

BarCampTexas is happening on Aug 26th and 27th up in Austin. A BarCamp is an unconference created by the participants. I stopped in at BarCamp Austin during this year’s SXSW conference and had a good time and I’m looking forward to this one. Anyone else going?
August 11, 12 and 13th is officially NODE101 Weekend EVERYWHERE! The space at Jump-Start is booked up so we’re having a party at my house on Saturday from noon til 5pm. There’s a videoconference happening from 12 - 4 so everyone at NODE101 events can connect with one another. We’ll also be screening videos from the first two Have Money Will Vlog projects, “American King” and “Seven Maps.” Pizza and drinks provided (courtesy of NODE101 via Vloggercon). RSVP to 387-4207 or michael@michaelverdi.com.
For more info about what else is happening at other nodes, check out the wiki.
